My wife is going back to Malaysia. and when she was here in USA, she was in the group plan from my employer but i was paying, actually my contracting employer was cutting that 500 dollars from my paycheck. So if i cancel her out from my plan, he should not cut that money or will he do it even if my wife in not in the group plan. but who will he pay it to? because i will call the insurance agent and cancel the insurance. I have seen providers bill Medicare A9270 so they guarantee that Medicare will deny, so they will get more money by having member’s secondary commercial insurance pay as primary. Is this legal?

Spent all of 2009 unemployed and paid over 00 to COBRA for medical, which paid more than half of the money I made in 2009. Can this be deducted as Medical Expenses on my taxes? Also I did not get the 65% discount from President’s program.
