I recently switched jobs and I am currently on my new employers insurance plan, which has a very high deductible. I am already past the deductible on my old employers plan and have the option to continue COBRA coverage.

Now, I had to see a doctor this month (my old companies insurance coverage ended 06/30) and I am wondering if I should continue my COBRA coverage to pay for it.

Please advice!

I am in my two week period between jobs and I was wondering how I go about getting COBRA coverage. I will have nearly two months until my new insurance picks up. Do I talk to my current employer or is there another way I am supposed to do this? My last day at the current job is next Tuesday and I am pretty stressed over this.

My worry is she’ll give birth and we’ll have to pay out of pocket which is expensive. Can i get all the paperwork submitted so she is covered when she gives birth? Or does it take a while to get all that in order?
