I am self-employed and can afford health insurance, but need a policy without preexisting condition exclusions, as are always included with single health insurance.

Is there anyway to get in on a group plan without being employed by a large employer?

I care for my grandchildren and make very little, I am 60 and want to find a very low reasonable health insurance. Is this possible?

I’ve been wrongly terminated, and I believe this corporation HR’s department is not being responsible with their benefits. I have not received the Cobra benefits that they are to provide when terminating an employee. What is the timeline for them to supply this information and can I file a complaint and lawsuit?
Thank you.

What is a good individual health insurance?

Mine sucks and I work for a hospital! I’m looking for reasonably priced, low copays and deductibles, and great medical care. Please list details. I’m probably not going to find such a fairy tale insurance, right?? I have Healthfirst/Premier.
By individual, I mean separate from my employer, I’m looking for family coverage.

If an employer of a small corporation ( under 12 employees) pays for group insurance for himself and spouse and children that are over 25 years of age. The payments are made directly from the corporation. The children reimburse him personally for their part of the fees and he puts that reimbursement into his private account. In years past he would give each employee 215.00 to buy their own insurance. He stopped that several months ago. I guess my question is this…Is this legal under ERISA? or any other government plans?
Thanks!!

I’m transitioning into self-employment and finding that private health insurers are declining coverage to me based on my weight and high blood pressure (well-controlled). I’ll be 50 very soon and will fill out applications to AARP. The telephone representative was very friendly on the phone. Does anyone know if their underwriting is more flexible than the mainline companies?

BerkeleyHealthInsuranceQuote.com said that the costs of medical treatment have greatly increased thats why it is very important for one to be insured and have individual health insurance plans.
